Hello there, I'm Fall and I've been part of the PC on and off since about... 2008 I think, but I've been playing Petz since '97 when Petz II was one of my favorite games.
In the early to mid 2000's, I spotted Dogz 5 at an electronics store and grabbed it, remembering the joy I had playing Petz II. Two German Shepherds, creatively named Max and Maxy, were my first new Dogz. I remember it feeling like forever before I could breed them and they had a son named Tommy who I later got a mate for named Molly. Ah, those were the days. Before PetzA. Before joining the PC.
So since this forum is all about going back to "rootz", I figured what better breed to specialize in than German Shepherds? Sure, they inherent in a funky way and their ears move weirdly, but back when I got Dogz 5, I didn't stinkin' care! They were my babies and I loved them about as much as I loved my real pets!
So I'll be starting out here with my two new German Shepherds, Jack and Maggie. I'll probably end up choosing a cat breed to specialize in, but for now I just want to relieve the nostalgia of these dogz.
I do have Petz 4 (bought on Amazon a few years back), so I may end up specializing in a Petz 4 breed or two as well, but since I do most of my hexing and selective breeding projects in Petz 4, naturally raising any petz there would prove to be a challenge (trust me, I've tried).
