Hi guys, just wanted to see what you guys thought of awards for this forum. I was thinking, maybe we could do a point-system. Points will go towards bigger awards? (hexed petz, hexed toys, hexed clothes) or whatever you guys decide for awards. I could make small ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd so you could put them on their kennel pages so people can see.
What do you guys think of this? I know hexies are not really related to the forum but I couldn't think of anything else we could offer. Maybe custom playscenes or maybe even create custom titles?
Let me know your opinions on this.

This system will be used only in your contests? If in all, sorry, but I don't want it to be in my contests too... But if you're talking about your contests only... well, I don't know what to say about it...

All contests would have the same point-systems for this forum. We'd decide how many points each would get: Example 1st would get 3 points, 2nd would get 2 and 3rd would get 1. The points would then be tallied up to earn bigger prizes.

You mean that point system will be always at the contests and I can also add another prizes (drawings, for example), right? If I understand you right, then I don't mind!  |

Of course!  But you wouldn't HAVE to if you didn't have time to do them. Winners are awarded points either way. |

Hmm, I'm not sure about a global points system, unless it is automatic (ie. built into the forum), it tends to get messy. I only say that because I know I had tried to implement a similar system on Petzabloo way back with "money" I believe and it was just very confusing. Unless the points are just standard like in pose showz for example where BIS would be 5 points, 1st would be 4 points and etc, etc. That would be a good idea in that sense I think! I would love little ribbons too! That is such a good idea! It would make people (at least I know I would :3) feel special too I'm sure to get badges added to their kennel/cattery page if they have been very active around the forum or doing well in competitions in general and things like that! (Just ideas ^^)

It wouldn't be build into the forum. We'd just keep the existing awarded points that Conf. shows earn:
BIS - 5pts
1st - 4pts
2nd - 3 pts
3rd - 2 pts
HM - 1 pt
Rootz Points would only be counted for contests on here though.
I understand that not all shows have that many winners but if you'd have 1st and 2nd winners, the points would be the same. You'd have to keep track of them somehow like when you do for conf. shows. Maybe keep a notepad and keep track that way?
I found some ribbons which I think would be cute. I just have to buy them and customize them a bit to make them more unique but I just want to know if you guys would be on board with this.
