Ok guys, I've decided that this forum isn't going anywhere and I'm not liking where it's at. I've decided it's either I close it down or I change the concept of it.
1. I'm looking for something unique for the forum. 2. I don't like the one breed/person rule. I hate that now!
Maybe what I could have instead of one breed is have OB Breeds only. You could have mixies, purebreds, all as long as they're from the original breeds. Would be naturally raised too. What I was thinking of adding in there is something like "Breeding Projects" where you could post your progress on breeding projects and stuff. Everything for OB breeds only.
Let me know your opinions, ideas etc.
Thanks C:

do mutations in OBs and OB mixies count? also do OW Breedfiles count if they don't change the pet much, just add a few things like fuzz and patches and spots? like the chiuauha ow file i have that removes the shirts they sometimes come with in order to see chest patches? and the papilion one that changes the tail so it doesn't look like the ridiculous poodle cut tail?
Also i'd love to have more than one breed to work with so i can do breeding projects, i really love breeding a lot, so it'll be fun. i even have an idea for a breeding project that should fit in with the rules.

Yeah, I'd allow OW for colour mutations only. Nothing that would involve changing the body shape though. The papillon file wouldn't be accepted in this case since it's a hex that involves changing the tail shape. You could always try to breed your own papillons with a nice sheepdog tail though

Okay, it makes sense. so i can use the dali mutating spot ow and the alley mutating spot file ow.

Actually.. I'd be okay with this. Me being me, I'd probably stick to the OBs- no overwrites for colors or anything- but honestly the idea of breeding projects sounds nice.

Wooo! Change!
I have a suggestion though, I know some people don't like the one breed rule, but maybe there would be a way to allow mixies and keep a similar rule. This idea would (hopefully) increase player to player interaction as well, I feel it might make it more fun and a bit challenging.
So, for example: Someone owns calicoes- we'll call them P1, someone else owns Alleys, we'll call them P2. P1 wants to breed some calico alley mixes, but doesn't own alleys, P2 also wants to breed calico alley mixes- So P1 sends over a female calico over to P2, while P2 sends a male alley to P1 for a couple of playdates(saying P1 has two females, that is.), in hopes of getting kittens. And if they both had say, Petz 4- They could possibly randomize who gets the first kitten and so on. I feel like this would make it interactive for the people, and minimized unwanted petz, perhaps making it more enjoyable.
Just a idea though! :)

*shrug* Maybe people could own more than one breed, but crossbreeding would be restricted to other player's petz. It's a small niche at best so I don't think allowing people to own more than one breed would be that bad.
I like the idea, though!

So you couldn't breed between your own petz, you'd have to breed with other member's petz? That's really interesting... Maybe we could even have an online spreadsheet for Rootz petz only and have them registered? Each pet would have a number and it would be able to keep track of who has who?
