I'm so happy you've decided to visit us and possibly even join us. Rootz is a special forum and here is where you find out why...
I created Rootz for the simplest reason: Get that old time feeling of when you first played petz. What I mean by that is having a forum for the 15 original catz and 15 original dogz breeds that come with the petz game. I say 15 each considering the 10 new breeds in P5. The point of the forum is to naturally raise original breed petz. NO external breedfiles and no overwritting breedfiles (with a few exceptions for breed fixes). Mixies are also welcome :3
So the forum is for the fun we used to have when we first got the game. Waiting for puppies to be born, training and feeding your petz daily, visiting new places. I'll be holding contests for you to enter your petz in also.
These are the breeds you can participate with:
Dogz Bulldogs Chihuahuas Dachshunds Dalmatians German Shepherds Golden Retrievers Great Danes Jack Russells Labradors Mutts Papillions Poodles Pugs Scotties Sheepdogs
Catz Alley Cats B&W Shorthairs Calicos Chinchilla Persians Desert Lynx' Egyptian Maus Honey Bears Japanese Bobtails Maine Coons Orange Shorthairs Persians Russian Blues Scottish Folds Siameses Tabbys

Mm, just a thought- do you think it'd be a good idea to note which breeds have acceptable overwriting fixes along with maybe a link to download + description? I don't know all of the ones you had in mind, but from memory there was an alley sickness fix and a poodle fix with inheritable coat cuts, and probably more to be added.

I have another question. Could we use the big eye OW for sheepdogs? Example. I detest the original tiny eyes!

I don't know the links to the fixes but if someone has questions whether they're acceptable or not, you can post links here and I'll say whether they're good ot not. Yes, Kika, big eyed sheepies are acceptable :3

Would there be any way to make a list of who is specializing in what breed? Like even if it was a forum thread for us to say "I breed GSheps" and then you edit the original post to include that person. I just would really like to know who is doing what without having to look at their profile because I'd like to know if anyone else is doing the same breed as me and when choosing a breed, I prefer to choose one not as common.
EDIT: I went ahead and made a thread. Feel free to lock it or delete it.
